LUMIAIRE- LIONHEADS - exhibiting under Luminous prefix

                          My Goal

My name is Jan moore and I live in  Barrow-in-Furness, a small seaside town situated at the southern tip of Cumbria, to the north of Morecambe Bay and set against the spectacular backdrop of the English Lake District Mountains.

During the 1980’s I used to breed and exhibit Harlequin Rabbits locally, but gave up when both my children were small because I felt that I did not have the spare time to care for my rabbits properly.

Five years ago I bought my first lionhead, Oscar, as a pet for my youngest daughter Emma, he is not only cute but has a wonderful temperament, it wasn't  long before I was “hooked” on the breed and now that my children are grown up I have decided to return to my hobby. It is going to take a long time and a lot of effort and determination -   I am sure that it will be worth it and now, at near the end of 2013 I feel I have made real progress.

Over the past 4 years I have been building up my lionhead stock, I have acquired a  number of quality lionheads and am now breeding and exhibiting my own line and from 2014 they will be exhibited under the  prefix 'Luminous', and there will be some changes as move into year 5, still keeping sooty fawn, and my vienna project did have fab results with Luminous Xavier doing so well in 2013, but the choc are in wind down, yet to decide if I will continue with them ....
